As November welcomes fall color to lower elevation areas like downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, and the North Carolina Arboretum, it's time to enjoy the final glorious weeks of autumn. From the peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the banks of the French Broad River, our Asheville Fall Color Hunters explored the full spectrum of autumn's beauty across the region. Fall Color Hunters Authentic Asheville and Rachel Pressley hit the trails again this week in search of the latest fall foliage developments.
Authentic Asheville reports:
"The fall color at Biltmore this week is nothing short of amazing. We recommend checking out the foliage on the vista just below the statue of Diana, which looks out at Biltmore House. The leaves there are stunning and vibrant and will make an incredible photo for your Instagram. After that, we recommend heading on over to the Italian Garden, the Rose Garden, and the Walled Garden where you’ll see even more beautiful colors. And if you have time, we suggest making a stop over at the Lagoon where the trees line the water in one of the most picturesque sights in Asheville."
